Last Sneak Peek for CDS Sept Sets

*** Second Post Today***
My House Mouse blog challenge card is over on the blog today. I will post it here later this week. Sorry... Too many posts for me today. Not sure if this was easier or worse for me. LOL But I did use another new stamp the boys got me for my birthday, so go check it out!
This is the last day of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps Sept. release. I sure hope you have enjoyed the sneaks you have seen. A reminder they are all available tomorrow Sept 1st.
This is the Flower of the month for December Poinsettia. My DH loved this first card, said it really grabbed his attention. I popped the flower up a few layers onto dimensionals, and tied a ribbon and all done.

I went with traditional red and green for this second card, but again popped up the flower a few times on dimensionals. I am really liking this flower popped up a few times.

The girls have some wonderful cards for you to check out also:

Linda

Well I hope you have enjoyed the last few days.. I am going to go and relax now. lol Actually today is the boys first day of school and I know they are excited. I am a little sad because that means they are getting another year older. sniff... sniff.... but that isn't a bad thing. Just reminds me to enjoy each day. And my FIL is retiring from his job of 37 plus years today. So we have a fun filled day head and I was going to relax. hee hee Have a wonderful day! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by the last few days! :0)

Last day of Sneak Peeks for CDS

*** First Post Today***
Some important info first... The last few days have been full of sneak peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps Sept 1st release. These are all available tomorrow Sept 1st over in CDS New store front. Be sure to check it out and I hope you have enjoyed all the sneak peeks!
For this first card I thought lavendar would be a great idea for this Flower of the month Chrysanthemum for November set. I framed it with a spellbinders label die and some ribbon.

For this second card I used the pinks and yellows that I had laying on the table. I know... so creative right... lol

I know I'm cool...

***Second Post Today***
Now the guys in your life are going to love today. Well they will if you get any of the sets today since they are all cars. Vrooomm.... This is using the 1969 Camaro set along with Cool Rides a sentiment set. I used some shiny dp that I got from SU awhile back for this card. After I finished this card my DH informed me I got the hood scoop wrong. Whatever.... Now this might be a draw back with cards. lol Kidding...

This second card I did with some world map dp for the background. Another simple birthday card for those guys in our lives.

A bunch more rides for you to check out today:
Candy
Sarah
Trudy

Okay tomorrow is last day of all the sneak peeks. These sets are all available Sept 1st!

Let's go old school baby

*** First post today***
This vintage 1939 Ford Coupe is so cool and reminds me of my grandparents. They never owned one but it just screams vintage and valuable to me and my grandparents are very valuable to me! I kept both these cards very simple and minimal. I liked the worn look of this first card with the faded green paint.

And this second card I used a scrap piece of map dp that I found in my bin. And the old saying when your on a trip * just drive* lol The sentiment is from the Cool Rides set today as well.

Be sure to check out the other sneaks today from:

Fall is just around the corner

*** Third Post Today***
And I am ready for some cooler weather. We have had a hot summer here, so fall is looking sweeter everyday. Now isn't this new Charlie just adorable. This is called Charlie Harvest and just when I think the last one was the cutest ever Laurie comes out with an even cuter one. I kept this first one simple added some texture with the swiss dots background.

On my second card I went with this fallish looking paper well I think its fall looking and used Beates Weekend sketch for the layout.

Be sure to check out the fabulous cards the other girls did today:
Angela
Candy
Laurie
Tricia
Trudy

See you back here tomorrow for more sneaks!

Start your engines....

*** Second Post Today***
Are you ready for the races? Me neither... bawhaha... But there are those out there who love Nascar and other car racing sports. This fun set is called At the Races. its a great guy set so you know I love it already. It is so fun and has lots of options for memory pages or cards. For this first card I am starting at the beginning of the races. Used some star brads that I have had forever.

This second one is racing by with a birthday hi. I always need birthday cards so this is going into my stash. Everyone should have a winners birthday card.

More sneak peeks can be found on the girls blogs here:
Candy
Katie
Kim
Sarah

All these stamps are available on Sept 1st just a few days away! Be sure to check out the new store front for Clear Dollar Stamps!

How about some Tea girls...

***First Post Today***
I have a girlfriend who meets with her girls, mom and grandmother every month for tea and sandwiches. They have been doing this since before she was born. They try out a new flavor of tea each month and have some sandwiches and snacks at the tea party. This is such a bonding time that they all enjoy.
This set is called Tea-riffic. I don't have any tea cup stamp sets so this is very fun for me. And not to mention girlie so even better. For this first card I went with showing you a few of the images in the set. I scored the panel and added the center teapot up on dimensionals.

For this second one I went with the colors of the dp for the teapot. Now the camera seems to be making the teapot a lot brighter than the dp, but IRL they match perfectly. Go figure..

I A door you Linda

*** Third Post Today***
Last sneak for today for Clear Dollar Stamps Sept sets. This is called I A Door You. This is Linda B home front. hee hee She has a yellow house and I thought of her when I got this set. Isn't it cute? I used some gingham paper and a few scraps for the layout. I like how it turned out. Very different for me. I am stepping out a little. haha

Ofcourse for this one I went with my traditional style of clean and simple. This way you can focus on the images. I can fruit and veggies so this card is dear to me.

Some of the other girls have sneak peeks for you also and they are:
Angela
Candy
Cassie
Katie
Laurie
Tricia
Trudy

Okay day one is all done, be sure to check back tomorrow for day two! Have a great day!

Let's hit the ice..

*** Second Post today***
This fun set is called Hockey Time and oh its a awesome. My sister is a huge Hockey Fan ( me personally its Football but whatever... ) LOL anyhow I have had fun with these cards. This first one all I could think about was the saying * shooting circles around you* and well I went with circles. :0) I added a little piercing and brads and that's it. Pretty simple but vibrant in colors.

This second one I added a little bit of distressing my way to the panel and created a background with the puck and stick in the set.

Be sure to check out the other girls cards today with this set:
Angela
Candy
Kim
Linda
Sarah

All stamps are available on Sept. 1st over in the Clear Dollar Stamps new store front. If you haven't seen it you want to check it out!

Romans 8 Sneak Peek

***First post today***
I am trying something different with my posts for this release. I am going to put each set into its own post, so let me know if this looks better.
This sneak peek from Clear Dollar Stamps is called Roman 8. I wanted to use a little flower for the framing for this scripture. I like how it turned out. Very simple, and it lets you focus on the scripture.

I went with vibrant colors and ribbon for this card. Again very simple so you can get the message in the scripture.

The other girls that have sneaks with this set today are:
Angela
Candy
Cassie
Laurie
Linda

Be sure to check out Flourishes Friday Focus over on the newsletter with Cindy today as well!

Little things make me smile

My DH is always amazed at the little things that I get excited about. It can be anything little and I will get just as excited as if It was a big thing. Our boys showed us yesterday just how much they are like me. They got so excited over the smallest thing and my DH just looked at me and smiled. I knew exactly what he was thinking. I really pray that the boys keep with *enjoy the little things* as they get older.
Enough chatting... onto the card. hee hee This card I used the set called Baby Love. I used some dp that I found going through looking for some other dp. I cut out and popped this little bear up on a dimensional. A little rugged corner and some ribbon and all done. Thanks for stopping by today! Hope to see you back on Friday for Clear Dollar Stamps because sneak peeks begin!

MMM Mice and Berries

Monday is here... Wow. Do the weekends seem to fly by fast for you also? They sure are at our house sheesshh... Well today I have another new House Mouse stamp that the boys got me for my birthday. I just love that they get me these stamps, they are really good at picking ones that I will like. Helps that DH is helping them with picks. hee hee I went with the colors from this Lemonade basic grey paper that I just got. Kept this very simple and will have the sentiment on the inside if I choose to add one. I am getting used to coloring my mice with the copics more and more. :0)
Be sure to check back next Monday for House Mouse and Friends Blog challenge. We will all be back from vacation and ready to go with your Monday challenges. Clear Dollar Stamps sneak peeks are going to be here in just a few days. So be on the look out! Hope you have a wonderful day!

MMM Last minute picnics

This is for the LSC233 challenge over on SCS Summer's winding down. Only 2 more weeks till school starts so we are trying to work in as many last minute picnics and BBQ's as we can. hee hee Then our regular routine will be back in our lives... aaaahhhh.... Gotta love that routine. lol
This is one of my new House Mouse stamps that I got for my birthday. I got 6 new ones, YES 6. I was so excited! The boys are so good about picking me out House Mouse stamps. :0) Now the House Mouse and friends Blog challenge is still running their back to school challenge till the 31st. So be sure to check it out and play along!
On a sad note my MIL is going to be closing her Christian Bookstore this month. Ironically 3 years ago the 29th is when she opened her doors and I went to work for her while the kids were in school. It was a hard decision but with things as they are she thought it best to close the doors. So that leaves me staying home again full time all year rather than just the summer. I am actually really excited to be a SAHM again full time.
I am much more relaxed when I can get things done around here at my leisure. I do have a full page list of things I plan to do right away. Things that get put off till I have *time* well now I will. For example clean the plant lofts, behind the washer and dryer, oil the trim and baseboards... you know the not so daily cleaning you have to do at a house. lol
Since I am normally simple and short with my posts... if anyone is still reading I hope you have a wonderful day!

Fresh Picks Day one Fruit Basket

Welcome to day one of Sneak Peeks for Flourishes! Today we have the set called Cherries and Peaches along with Basket Weave. I made a cute little mini 3x3 set along with a basket to hold them in. I really like this basket weave stamp for this set as and the Strawberry set we had last month.

I used the two smaller versions of the Cherries and Peaches for these cards and some of the sentiments with the set for you to see. I love this spellbinders label so I used it for the cards and the basket shape. I stuck the handles at the side so you could get the idea of a basket with handles.

Teen Queen so they think...

We have all known or know a teenage girl who thinks she is Royalty, or thinks she is the queen in her own mind . LOL But today we do have some Queens or Royalty and its Flourishes Customers.
*** To get ready for our smash release in August, we wanted to set the scene by honoring our customers who we consider - Royalty!
***HOW TO PLAY: Try to create a card fit for a king or queen! Use regal embellishments, a lavish paper, a beautiful image, glitz it up! Link your creation to the post on the Flourishes Newsletter or upload to Splitcoast using the keyword FLLCAUG. You have until Friday, August 14th 10th at 5 PM Eastern to have your creation uploaded! We can't wait to see what you come up with!
***WHAT YOU COULD WIN: All of our new releases that will be revealed starting next Wednesday, August 12th over on the Flourishes Newsletter.

Now how is that for some fun! I choose to go with the teen queen route for this challenge. I used some of Flourishes rich red metallic cardstock for the dress. Its hard to see the shimmer on the dress and the background layer but its there. Then I added some gold brads to the flourishes, her purse and the ribbon slider. She looks like a queen to me... I hope you play along with us! Be sure to check out the other DT OUTSTANDING cards!
