I used some pearls and some MB dewfrost paper for this warm feeling card.

Now this fun and cute little guy is from the set Billy Blasts off by Wendy. Another fabulous set for the boys out there. For the sentiment I took off the Hi and inside it says Happy Birthday.

I tried to create my own little cloud to have her standing on and I sponged some clouds in the background. Pet sympathies are always hard to make and I never had a set, so this is perfect! Last day of sneaks is tomorrow! be sure to check back for some sweet deals and sneaks! Have a great day.

Sneaks Day 2 Rivers more

Welcome to day 2 of Clear Dollar Stamps Jan Sneak peeks! this set is so darn adorable its called Lovin Ridley and Rosie by Wendy. I thought I would try out some ideas for the boys Valentines day party at school. So I made a little belly band for these little skittles packets with one of the images in the set. Perfect little treats. I think the girls will like them the most. lol

This beautiful scripture is Psalm 23:2 by Lori. I went with some dp I had in my stash, sponged around the frame and popped it up on dimensionals. I do like this flower ribbon, and I added some pearls to the center.

Now this wonderful little scene is called River Scene. And you can see the scripture above Psalm 23:2 fits perfectly with this River Scene as well. I did give the whole button a try with the ribbon on this one. I am using them more... or I am trying to atleast. I have a little bit of sparkle on the water as well.

Sneak Day 1 Sledding and Ladybugs

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and your New Year will be safe and blessed! Christmas was perfect at our house. Kids actually got up at 4 am with me, first time for them. hee hee Very fun and loved the time with everyone. DH was rather tired that day. lol
It is time for Clear Dollar Stamps Jan. sneak peeks! Oh they are so fun, you are going to love them. So for the next 4 days sit back and enjoy the sneaks! First up we have for you Charlie Sledding by Laurie!
The first thing I thought of was sledding down a hill, so I created some snow with the swiss dots folder. Then I cut another piece out and frayed up the edge and added some sparkle for the snow shimmer. It is very simple but cute I think. hee hee

Next I wanted to have him on a huge snowflake like background. So I used the spellbinders pendant and layered it, added some sparkle to the ends and voila. He just makes you smile doesn't he.

The next set we have is Loving Ladybugs by Shawne. Oh so very sweet. Several images in this set and perfect for Valentines day cards. Here I used some ribbon I got from my good friend America. I added a little sparkle around the frame as well.
Now be sure to check out what the other DT came up with for sneaks:

Friday Focus White Space

Over on Flourishes newsletter today I am talking about White Space and how NOT to be afraid of it. I use a lot of white paper in my cards, I LOVE a lot of white clean space on my cards. It might be my OCD coming out onto cards, haha... I just think the clean and simple look sometimes is what makes the card pop. I have a few ways that I use white space so I will show you the two common ways I use it.
Below here is the single layer of white space I use a lot. I have a little color with the ribbon and paper. My Dove and Holly is the focal point and I added a little bit of sparkle to the leaves. Very simple.
Below here is what I call my layered white space. I have used the set A year of Flowers calendar set 2. I still have a lot of white space but I broke it up into two layers, and see it still looks so clean and fresh. I added a little white crochet ribbon and pearls to top it off.

See white space is nothing to be afraid of, so give it a try! You might not go back. hee hee Check out what the girls came up with for their version of White Space also:

Fresh Daisies today

Well I surely don't have these outside today. We have snow, rain and freezing rain today. Kids had a delay for school so they are outside making snowmen. lol Got lots of blogs and emails to catch up on. My dad's surgery went well yesterday, was at the hospital most of the day and evening. He is doing well and giving the nurses a hard time. :0)
I used the Gerber Daisies set with the Daffodil Copic collection and Fields 1 collection. I framed them with a spellbinders label and added a few silver flower finishing touches and jewels, very simple overall.
Be sure to check back on Friday if I don't see you before then for Flourishes Friday Focus with ME. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Wedding Bliss...

Well they are finally married and are on the road to Wyoming to their new home. Boy am I BEAT... This was a wonderful wedding and I am so happy for my sister. Now to get all the family packed that is leaving today on the road. We got snow last night, perfect for her winter wedding. You can't see all of it but their are a few Christmas trees with lights on both side of the screen. On the screen is a wintry night scene that we had up there with all the lights out in the church. We had lights on the ceiling for the stars, it really was pretty.
Okay now who is who. Do you know which one I am? Not the one in white. haha I am on the left in the green dress, my middle sister the bride and her new hubby, then my youngest sister in the pink. She will be having her wedding next Sept. Yes another wedding. lol
Below here is my sisters and my parents. Now I am only taller than my mom because I have heals on, otherwise I am usually the shortest one in the group.

And here is one of my and my wonderful husband and myself. :0) He just makes my so complete I can't even begin to tell you. The boys didn't get into a lot of the pictures, but I will try and find one later to post up. They were all dressed up so cute.
I will be back this week with some cards for you! Have a wonderful day!

Day 2 A year of Flowers

Today we are showing you A year of Flowers: Calendar set 2. May-August flowers. This is what the whole calendar file looks like if you purchase or get it for free. So you can have a 6x6 calendar or the smaller one that I cut down and showed you yesterday. I like both versions personally.
With this calendar set I stamped the flower above the lines to write notes, and I used a spellbinders label to cut out a spot to add pictures. I made a set of these for the parents for Christmas with pictures of none other than the twins. Good thing they are the only grandkids, even amount of photos. ha-ha
Below is a close up of the flowers and I have added some sparkle to each one of the months. I like the little bit of sparkle on these.

Here is the binder that I got to hold the calendars in for the year. This way they can slide the calendars in and out if they want to change the photos. Which I know they won't, but they have the option. lol Now check out what the girls did for you today, they are awesome:

Floral Finesse For someone Special

Can you believe that it is already Dec. 4th and Flourishes Pre-release challenge?
Its all about floral finesse this challenge, I have the details below and over on the newsletter you can find the info as well. Lets just say that with my sisters wedding next weekend and family in town I was a little late in getting this card in for the Pre-Challenge. LOL But the girls love me anyways I hope. :0)
I went with the yellowish and greenish browns that are the color of my grass and flower beds right now. I am in winter weather all right, the only thing we need is the snow on the ground. Bbbrrrr.... I used Many sentiments and Damask for this card. I added some Pearls and a Gold finishing touches ribbon slider to finish it off. Check out what the girls did for the challenge:
Christine
Cindy
Julie
Latisha
Laura
Leslie
Here are the details for the challenge:
Join us for our release challenge as we play up some floral finesse! This challenge is all about the colors we love in our gardens. The thermometer might say winter, but this one is all about those feel good floral feelings.
The challenge: use your favorite flower as the inspiration for your card/project's color scheme. Maybe you choose dusty pink and sage because it reminds you of the tea roses in your garden. Or, maybe you choose golden shades with hints of brown to remind you of the sunflowers you love in the field nearby! You choose! Just let us know what flower inspired your creation!
The Details: Keyword will be FLLCDEC on Splitcoast and contest runs up until December 11th at 5 PM Eastern in order to be in the running to win all three of our new releases for December!
Hope you get to play along with us! Have a great day.

Happy Mail came my way

Look what I got in the mail yesterday. This adorable snowman card and stamp is from my good friend Julie. This card was so adorable on her blog and then I get it in the mail, how lucky am I? She also sent me this darling mouse stamp. I had to ink it up right away. So I made this little pizza box that I put some hershey kisses in. Thank you again Julie, I LOVE it!
See you back here on Friday for Flourishes Pre-release challenge. You won't want to miss it! Have a great day.
