Last day Sneaks for Clear Dollar Stamps

This is the last day of Sneak Peeks for Clear Dollar Stamps. All the sets you have seen the last few days will be available bright and early tomorrow April 1st. And that is NO JOKE! :0) This is Martial Arts and also for a person that is hopefully getting their brown belt next week at testing. I sponged around the border and used some of the words for a background.
And my last sneak for you today is Fashionably French. I used some designer paper from KnC company and tried a new thing with the ribbon, I kinda like how it turned out. I also paper pieced the dress with some of the paper and layered up the sentiment on the tags.

Farmers and a Skater Day 3

Day three from Clear Dollar Stamps brings us a fun little set called Fun at the farm. I masked the hay bails and sponged on some clouds for this little farmer. He is just too cute, the sentiment is darling as well. The animals in this set are adorable and you just want to hug them right off the card. hee hee
Graceful Skater is up next and such an elegant image. I pulled out the white and pinks for a girly girl card. I added a little jewel to the corner and some gingham ribbon.
Now another little something that CDS is offering is a New Line of Digital images. Whohoo.... Yes they are offering for you Digi lovers out there some wonderful designs. Be sure to check them out as well the sneaks from:

Bloomers, Bees, Bunnies and Scripture

Day two is here! Did you like all the sneaks from yesterday? If you are just now tuning in you are checking out Clear Dollar Stamps sneak peeks for April. This scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6. Now I had one of those days and this just didn't look quite like I had it in my head. I just finally had to call it good and walk away. I like the vibrant green ribbon and paper, but its missing something I keep thinking.

Now Charlie has a new set today its called Charlie Bee happy. The hive in this set is so so cute that I focused on it today instead of Charlie. But don't worry the other girls have him all done up for you.
This darling little bunny is from the Butterfly Bunny. I love how clean and crisp this turned out. I added a few jewels to the flowers and that was it. This has to be one of my favorite cards I have made.
My springy flowers here are from the Bless my bloomers set. I haven't used my spellbinders flower shape in awhile so I pulled it out for the bottom layer and added some piercing. The silk bow tops it off.
The girls have some fabulous sneaks for you:

Drive In's, Heartfelt and blessings day 1

Yep it's Day 1 of Clear Dollar Stamps SNEAK PEEKS! You will be seeing for the next few days some wonderful creations of the April sets. All stamps are available on April 1st bright and early over at Clear Dollar Stamps store front. Enjoy the sneaks! And to top it all off Lori is introducing Clearly Coordinating Cardstock line. This first line is called Summer Fun. Check out Lori's post here for more info.
This first card is using 50's Drive in. I have made what is to look like a record (hard to see the scored lines in the photo) and I added some liquid glass to the car windshield for fun. This is such a fun set.

This one is with a sentiment set mostly called Heartfelt sentiments. I kept this very simple with a sympathy sentiment. I really really like the baby blue with my sympathy cards I am sure you can see. Very soothing and simple.
This pretty little thing is with Blooming with Blessings. The umbrella in the set is what I gravitated to first since I don't have anything like that. I went with some memory box paper that I liked the color of. Popped up the panel and added some pearls. This is a little more glammed up for me but I do like how it turned out.
Now head on over to the girls blogs and check out the wonderful creations they came up with:

Tea anyone...

Happy Friday and Spring break! Or at least it is spring break for us. The boys are just as excited to have a week of fun and jammies all day as I am. Now I won't stay in my jammies all day.... But they sure want to. hee hee
I have a few tea related items for you today. I used the Lets have Tea set from Flourishes. First up is this little 4x4 card that is pretty in pearls. I stamped the sentiment and framed it with a cutout of a spellbinders shape. then I stamped and cutout this little cup and popped it up on a dimensional at the bottom of the frame. This turned out very sweet I thought.

This is a journal that I got around Christmas time for very little. I have recovered the front with the teapot and cup image from Let's have Tea. I added a pendant panel to the back and some ribbon with pearls. Very simple and looks so much better than the original.

Check out what the girls have planned for today:

Easter Basket and tag

Easter is just around the corner I can't believe it. This year has gone by so fast already. I made this darling little Easter basket with the instructions over on SCS here. Man I had a hard time getting my fingers to work right doing this. haha But I did get it done and its totally cute.
I used this little guy from the Pippin Mouse Family for my tag. I punched out a spellbinders label for a tag and then layered it on pink paper and cut around it. I need to find a way to put candy in these baskets without the parents getting so mad that its filled to the brim. lol
On side note... I borrowed from my friend Heather this Wii game/video called Just Dance. Oh my goodness... Talk about a blast. It has some fun songs and we danced off with the twins last night for about 3 hours. I know I can't dance and well that game proved it. HOWEVER I did beat the pants off DH and the twins. So maybe I can dance. LOL
Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Easter Parade over at Flourishes...

Over on Flourishes blog today its all about Easter. I made this quick little Easter basket of goodies with the new set Easter Basket. I have a clear box that I cut the tabs off of and added my own handle. I decorated the sides with some designer paper and some ribbon. The little eggs in this set are just so cute. I popped the ribbon bow up on dimensionals and added some sparkle. Very quick and simple little gift.
Flourishes has a sale on the set Easter Bunnies at a discount of 40%. Be sure to check out the set! Some of the girls have used this set today before it gets retired. The card above is using the set called Lily of Hope. I went with the soft and subtle colors of the Copic Pastels. I really like the sentiment over the image. Some crochet ribbon with some soft pink ruffled ribbon on top. Very soft and simple. Check out the girls little Easter creations:

If you are just getting here and want to join in the hop start at the TS Blog here. If you are already hopping you should of just came from Vicki's blog. I used the larger coffee cup and one of the sentiments to make a tag for some coffee beans for a friend. I kept getting a shine off the paper with the camera so the picture is rather dark. Sorry about that. These beans smelled so GOOD. Oh I know she is going to love this.
This next card I made with more fresh colors for spring. The sentiment totally makes me giggle. I started off using the OCCC sketch and well I messed up, so now its just a card. LOL I do like these springy colors though. I added some liquid glass to the coffee for the wet look. hee hee
Hope you are enjoying the Coffee shop hop. Your next and last stop is over at Sue aka Coffeestampers gallery over on SCS here. Coffee Brawd is available in just a few short hours! Happy Shopping!

Celebrate our Designers and Sneak Peeks

As we continue Flourishes' Grand Opening Celebration, we honor the talented designers who truly make Flourishes shine! Today's challenge is all about letting these designers inspire YOU! Pay them a visit, pick a designer, and choose one of their cards to CASE. Please make sure to provide a link both to your card and the creation that inspired you!
Important Deets:All of the designers playing in this challenge today are showing off a brand new, soon- to- be- released set called Friendly Reminders! It will be live in the Flourishes Store right after our Power Hour Release Party which begins Friday night at 9 PM CST in our SCS Forum!
Yep I am using the new set Friendly Reminders. Now I choose Laura to case. Laura has a simple style that is just awesome. And she always steps it up a notch with her cards. This is the card I choose to case from Laura. I turned her beautiful and delicate card into this bold summery feeling card. I couldn't get my ribbon to do what I wanted so I just added some jewels to the bottom and added a tag. Kept the over all layout and design the same. Laura you rock girlie!
Now Laura and I have another thing in common besides simple and clean cards. She loves to make gift sets as well. So I made my own little box with magnetic lid that holds these cards and envelopes. Here is the front with it closed. I used the simple tote without the handle that I usually make. I cut out a window in the front with a spellbinders label and adhered some clear cardstock to the inside. So you can peek through to the goodies inside.

Below is a picture with the lid open and a few of the cards out. This little bird house is so cute and perfect for summer and spring cards. I used the small magnet circles to keep the box closed. Added some pearls and crochet ribbon and done. Very simple and great little gift for one of the boys teacher last year. I surprised her with it on her desk at school. She knew it was from me though. I guess that is what I get for being the only stamping mom there. LOL

Celebration Birthday

Welcome to day 2 of the Grand Opening Celebration for Flourishes! Today, for the Timeless Tuesday challenge, the Friends of Flourishes are challenging you all to get in the spirit and create a card full of celebration. Check out the blog for all the details and prize information.
I tried another new technique with this flower that I found on Dawn's blog here. It is a cool flower don't you think? I have some sparkle that I added to the flower and the Ornamental elements in the corner. I used a sentiment from the set Let them eat cake. Very simple but the flower really looks cool.
This next one I used again the set Let them eat cake set. I really like this springy paper that the boys got me last year and this is the last little snippet of this one. Very simple with a little bit of ribbon and the scallop edge.

Sweet Celebrate

Happy Monday! Flourishes has been waiting to officially unveil its new home on the web for months and this week we're kicking off Five Days of fun and games to celebrate the big event! Today's challenge is a bit sketchy – literally. PageMaps.com hostess and Flourishes artist Becky Fleck whipped up a special sketch just for our celebration! Use it for your own creation, link up here on this post and you could walk away the winner of our day one drawing for a goody bag from Flourishes. If you upload to SCS, please use the keyword FLLCCEL1. You have until Monday, March 15th at 6 PM EST to link up your cards!

I pulled out my fabulous Sweet peas for this sketch. Used a little ribbon and flowers and topped it off with a crochet heart. Now about these little hearts. I dug out my crochet needles and my thread and I made this little hearts that Cassie showed me on her blog. She gave me the link to Little birdie secrets that has a video tutorial on how to make them. Now I haven't crocheted in about 13 years. I did a lot when I was in high school but haven't since. Rather interesting training my hands to not cramp up after 10 min. lol But I did it and I am having fun making these little babies. I want to try the flowers next... EEK... .Now that look hard. haha
Anyways.... Hope you play along in the challenge today and the rest of the week! Lots of fun things happening! Be sure to check out the others creations with the sketch today:

Friday Focus... Get well

Happy Friday! I haven't been around much this week, its been crazy here with just about everything. I am looking forward to a none busy weekend. Well sorta not busy. :0) Over on Flourishes new blog our Friday Focus is about Get well cards. I never have these on hand.
I went with a simple one here first. I used the little flower from the Thinking of you set along the side, and stamped it off for a shadow effect. Added some scalloped ribbon and a few jewels. Very simple and quick.
This next one I added some fabulous satin ribbon and pearls for a more elaborate get well. This flower is from the Lilac stamp set. I love this new peach satin ribbon that Flourishes has. The new spellbinders should be in the store as well so check out all the new goodies why you are there. The picture doesn't show it but I added some apricot shimmerz to the flowers for a little sparkle, but I didn't get it well with the camera.
Check out the Get well cards the girls came up with for you:

Cupcake inspired bookmarks

Whohoo! Have I found the coolest web store. I have been seeing these cupcake challenges on Michelle's blog for awhile now. Sometimes I get tunnel vision and long story short.... I finally found Hope Stamps Eternal web store and cupcake challenge on their blog. Rachel's store if so awesome and she has LOTS of cool enabling items I must say. So after spending sometime on the blog and then in the store I got my order in the mail. YES!!!
So I got to play along in the cupcake challenge #48. I made a set of bookmarks. The green one is for the leaves, the yellow one is for the white and yellow flowers on the cupcakes and the pink one is for the strawberries and pink frosting. I love these Miss Anya stamps from the Greeting farm. Wait till you see the other stamps I ordered. Hee hee Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Mice and more mice

I am getting back into my House Mouse stamps as you can tell. I felt like I had been neglecting them too long with other things. I just love the sweet angelic look of this one in the crocus. Awww....
The next one I did the other day for the Ways to Use it challenge on SCS WT258 Orange Love. Now I don't use orange too much but I thought it would be fun to pull it out and give it a whirl. Turned out pretty cute. I added a few jewels and voila.
Got lots of fun things happening the next few weeks. I can't wait to share with you all! :0) Have a great day!
